Optimistic for the Future currently fulfills the mandate of four of the SPCDC pillars: Enrichment, Youth, Self-awareness, and Health and Wellness.
This is accomplished by going to rural communities, and schools, partnering with NGO’s, and hosting events for males.
Optimistic for the Future, OFF is guided by Seven Pillars Community Development Center an NGO. SPCDC is a nonprofit grassroots organization that changes lives by strengthening the family, through a multitude of services. The goal for SPCDC is to stimulate growth in target areas with a focus on community and economic development.
To provide them with the tools to express emotions other than anger or self-deprivation.
To provide a safe and effective space for boys and men to express themselves and understand who they are and how to grow into being the Man that God created.
Matthew 9:29 “Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. “ Optimistic for the Future’s Mission is to:
Strengthen all males through encouragement and empowerment, by showing them how to navigate fatherlessness, hurt, pain, and wounds that are inflicted by society.

We plan to continue what we have done in the past and build from there. To accomplish this we will seek out more opportunities to have an impact on more males, from primary school to seniors, from the rural areas and Towns. To have structured programs whereby boys can attend educational life skills training, emotional well-being classes, mentorship programs, help with education, and continue the guy's events. We will also accomplish this by collaborating with other entities that align with our intent, such as NGOs that focus on education, entrepreneurship, and skills training. We would like to have a component of Mental health advocates.
We have accomplished this by hosting “Man Talk” events quarterly, by going into high schools and partnering with various NGOs speaking with the boys, providing care packages, and building confidence and hope.
To create an environment where all questions can be answered by trusted sources.
To provide them with a mindset of stability, health, and confidence
To aid them in making decisions that will keep them off of drugs and alcohol, that also gives them a healthy reverence for authority, parents, teachers, and themselves
To promote socio-emotional development, which provides the foundation for understanding, managing, expressing, and dealing with their feelings and emotions.
To explore strategies for providing education through the development of self-awareness, skills, and mentorship.
To help them gain awareness of how much they are loved by the one who created them.
